Celebrity chef Tony Hu says he still doesn’t know why FBI and IRS agents raided seven of his restaurants in Chicago on Friday, reports DNA Info.
All the restaurants opened shortly after agents completed their search armed with search warrants.
“I am fine, thx a lot for caring and support!” he said in an email meant for his fans.
Authorities have only said the raids were “part of an on-going investigation” and no arrests have been made.
Agents seized books and accounting records along with computer equipment. They were also seen questioning employees.
