Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar will be teaming up with Academy Award nominated Indian producer & director Mira Nair for a new movie, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
Three and a Half is described as a love story and political thriller with Nayyar playing a revolutionary. Nair who has worked on such films as Vanity Fair with Reese Witherspoon, Mississippi Masala and The Namesake will produce Three and a Half.
Sooni Taraporevala who collaborated on many films with Nair will serve as director.
“Both Mira And Sooni have been instrumental in inspiring me to be an actor,” Nayyar said. “Watching their movies growing up, I realized it was possible to be an Indian artist and still be put on the world stage.”
