The defense in the sex discrimination case against Silicon Valley venture capitalist firm Kleiner Perkins Caufiled and Byers grilled accuser Ellen Pao Tuesday.
ABC7/KGO reports the courtroom became tense as attorney Lynne Hermle questioned Pao about her work history and her affair with co-worker Ajit Nazre.
Hermle: You discussed having children together?
Pao: Yes we did.
Hermle: He responded that he was interested?
Pao: Yes he did.
Hermle: You communicated you loved him?
Pao: Yes.
Hermle: And he told you he loved you?
Pao: Yes.
It was after Pao broke off her affair with Nazre when she says her work relationships at Kleiner soured.
