Ellen Pao who recently lost her sex discrimination case against venture capitalist firm Kleiner Perkins continues to push diversity at Reddit where she is interim CEO, reports CNN Money.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Pao says she’s passed over candidates not committed to diversity, she’s hired a diversity consultant and she’s eliminated salary negotiations which she says puts women at a disadvantage.
Pao is keeping a high profile and recently sat down for an interview with Katie Couric for Yahoo.
“I can tell you from a broader perspective, its a hard issue for people to confront,” said Pao. It’s either society has this problem and its hard to fix or this woman has a problem and lets just ignore it. So that’s how a lot of it plays out I think”
