The Daily News reports that three teens who escaped a Brooklyn halfway house have been indicted in the rape of a Chinatown woman.
Sanat Asliev, 17, Emanuel Burrowes, 16, and Erik Pek, 16, are accused of groping a woman in a cafe, then forced her into an apartment stairwell where they beat, raped and robbed her of her cell phone, credit cards, cash and keys.
The case garnered much media attention in New York after a worker there was accused of doctoring a log book to show he checked up on the boys every 30 minutes, when he had not.
The group home has since been closed.
