
An Indian American woman has received an apology after being asked to stop breast feeding her child in a New York Public Library, reports India West.
Sherry Singh is a frequent visitor with her children at the library. Her youngest starting crying, so she began breast feeding.
“An employee came over and told me not to breastfeed my daughter there,” Singh said.
The workers asked Singh to go to the bathroom. The library has apologized and says its training its employees on proper protocol.
