Fans of the movie Big Hero 6 can get excited.
The debut of Big Hero 6: The Series is approaching on Disney XD.
It will feature the return of Ryan Potter as the voice of Hiro and Jamie Chung as Go Go.
The new animated opening for the series was recently released.
Disney is so high on this series that its ordered two seasons to be produced even before the first episode has aired, according to Deadline.
411Media reports the series will pick up where the movie ended. The adventures and friendship of the 14-year-old tech genius, Hiro, will continue with his Pillsbury Doughboy-like companion, Baymax. Hiro will attend the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology with Baymax by his side. Together with Go Go, and the rest of his band of merry friends from Big Hero 6, they will take on the villains of San Fransokyo.
Daniel Henney, who played the voice of Tadashi, is not set to return. Fans know that his character died in the movie, or so we think.
There’s some speculation that Henney could revise his role in the planned sequel to the movie, according to Movie News Guide.
Tadashi’s remains were never found in Big Hero 6, leading movie goers to speculate he might be resurrected in Big Hero 7, or whatever the yet unnamed sequel might be titled.
