Racist graffiti is bad enough, but this is especially shocking.

Someone scrawled an anti-Chinese slur at the West Vancouver Community Center.

The North Shore News reports the slur was followed by the words “Deserve to die.”

That’s not even the most shocking part.

The culprits are believed to be 11-year-old kids.

The two are also suspected of being behind a string of racist graffiti in the neighborhood including a swastika.

“Where are the kids learning it?” asked North Shore Multicultural Society community connections manager Meharoona Ghani. “As a person of color, I see something like that and I’d be afraid for my kids. I’d be afraid for myself, wondering: ‘Is somebody going to beat me up next?’”

A local Chinese Canadian was the first to report the graffiti.

“There was a lot of hatred in that message,” said Lillian Salchner. “Being a Chinese Canadian, it is shocking.”
