Kairi Sane spent five years wrestling in Japan.
Now she’s working the NXT circuit for World Wrestling Entertainment. NXT is WWE’s developmental circuit, similar to the NBA G League or Major League Baseball’s Minor League.
Fans, unfortunately, have not all been welcoming.
During a live event in St. Petersburg, Florida, fans taunted her with racist chants screaming taunts such as “happy ending” and Pearl Harbor, according to Wrestling Rumors.
Some immediately came to Sane’s defense.
To the guy who yelled, “Remember Pearl Harbor” toward Kairi Sane at #NXTStPetersburg…. I’d like to meet you outside and personally show you how we treat women, let alone Japanese women. You’re a piece of shit and I’ll spit in your face.

Sane, for her part, responded with love and kindness, reported Wrestling Inc.
