San Francisco police are looking into possible hate crime charges against a delivery driver who is accused of going on a racist rant against an Asian woman, reports KTVU.
Authorities say Nathan Cole of Daly City parked his vehicle in a woman’s driveway. When he returned, Sophia Shih says she asked him not to park there.
That’s when Cole can be seen on cell phone video screaming at Shih and nearly pushing up against her.
“Scary, scary, scary,” Shih said to KTVU.
“Foreign a** b***h, “Dog eating b***h. Cat eating b***h. You eat dogs huh? You eat dog,” Hopclear reported Cole allegedly said.
Cole works for the online service, Caviar.
“We take these types of allegations extremely seriously and have disabled the courier’s account,” Caviar said in a statement.
When officers arrived on scene, police say they pepper sprayed Cole after he failed to comply with orders. The Caviar driver drove off, but officers caught up with him and arrested him.
He faces charges of resisting arrest and disobeying a police officer.
