Police investigating racist incident in Canada

Police in the British Columbia city of Richmond are investigating a racist incident after video of the confrontation spread on social media.

Straight identified the woman who spewed the bigoted tirade at an Asian woman as Carla Waldman. Waldman denied she is racist despite what people are saying.

“Go back to China where you belong, you f—ing a—hole,” she is heard on video as saying. ” “Ch*nky Ch*nky China lady,” she screamed.

Amy Xu said she returned to her car in a mall parking lot and noticed her car had been touched by another. She waited for the other driver to return to resolve the issue.

“She just denied and asked where I’m from,” Xu said to CBC. “I said ‘This is not the point, the thing is that we’ve got an accident here.'”

Xu began videotaping the incident when the other started screaming. She said she decided not to fight back because she was with her daughter.

Waldman is defending herself.

“I do not regret anything I said to her because she was a very mean person,” Waldman said to CBC.

Police said they have been in contact with those involved and asked that people refrain from commenting on social media.

  1. RE: Police investigating racist incident in Canada: That racist lady definitely parked out of her space and clearly into Asian lady’s space. So, not only that White lady can’t park, but still threw racists words. SMH.
