A waitress in Carmel Valley, CA came to the defense of an Asian American family being racially abused while celebrating a birthday.
“Trump’s going to f*ck you. You f*ckers need to leave,” the man can be heard saying on video posted on Instagram. “F*cking Asian people sh*t.”
“Get out now, get out,” the waitress interjects. “You are not allowed here.”
According to Jordan Chan, the man left but later came back saying he appeared to be drunk.
“I’ve dealt with racism as well but never on that scale,” said Chan to KION46. “Never on that level to the point where somebody completely unprovoked felt obligated to voice out their hatred for absolutely no reason, just because they’re filled with that much hatred and because what, because we’re different skin color.”
The incident happened at Bernardus Lodge and Spa in Carmel Valley.
The waitress has reportedly received donations online for her decision to stand up for her customers.
