Social media posts attributed to Michael Lofthouse, the former CEO of Solid8 who resigned his position after his racist outburst at a Carmel Valley restaurant, have raised suspicions about the sincerity of his apology.
Instagram activist @jackfroot posted a screenshot of what looks like Lofthouse responding angrily to those attacking him on social media.
“I don’t care about you and your stupid opinions. Go get f*cked by the stupid liberals. You guys might have pressured me into apologizing, but I will forever keep my opinion.”
In a July 4 incident at Lucia in Carmel Valley on California’s Central Coast, Lofthouse is heard on video saying to a Filipino American and Chinese family ‘”You f*cking Asians. You f*cking Asians. Trump is going to F you up.”
Some on social media have also questioned the value of Lofthouse resignation from Solid8 saying he is the company’s only employee.
On the company’s LinkedIn profile, the number of employees is listed as 1-10. It is described by WaliKali as a tech consulting firm.
Lofthouse immigrated to the United States from Britain in 2010. He has also worked for Hewlett-Packard and IBM.
