A candlelight vigil was held on December 26 to honor the two teen siblings who were killed in a car accident on December 18, India West reports.

Arjit and Akshata Reddy Chettupalli were killed after a driver rear-ended their family’s car on Lassen Street near Oakdale, California, ABC 7 reports. Arjit, who was 14-years-old, died hours after the crash. His 16-year-old sister Akshata was taken off life support on Christmas day.

Both parents are expected to recover.

“My kids … there are not enough words to describe,” Ram Chettupalli, the teens’ father, told ABC 7. “My daughter was amazing and my son was, in a simple word, was kind of a human computer. They were very disciplined. They never did a single thing to the society. My daughter used to always tell me, ‘Daddy, I don’t know what I will do, but I will do something great for the society.'”

Investigators have arrested a 20-year-old driver who they say was driving under the influence. She has been charged with murder.
