Parade Magazine and MSN used pictures of Randall Park for their coverage of Ali Wong’s divorce from her husband Justin Hakuta. Park played Wong’s love interest in Always Be My Maybe.
Parade Magazine posted a picture of Park and Wong together in a tweet about her divorce. Asian American blogger Phil Yu posted a screenshot of the tweet.
Judith Benezra, head of programming at The Young Turks network, also pointed out that MSN had confused Park with Wong’s husband.
This is a photo of Wong with Hakuta.
Parade and MSN have since deleted their tweets but have not directly addressed their mistake.
