The family of 24-year-old Alexis Gabe is offering $100,000 to anyone who can find her body.
Gabe is from Oakley, California. Her family reported her missing after she left her home on January 26 and did not return. According to NBC Bay Area, police believe her ex-boyfriend Marshall Jones killed her. Police shot and killed Jones in Seattle when they attempted to confront him.
Initially, the family was offering a reward to anyone with information on Gabe’s whereabouts. The reward money has increased to $100,000. According to ABC 7, the family has also altered the parameters for the reward. After speaking to the police, they have decided to offer the reward to anyone who can find Gabe’s body not just provide information on her whereabouts.
“One of the things they were also saying is finding Alexis’ body would mean a lot. Because we are going to be able to find out the manner in which she was killed. Was there a weapon used? So, finding Alexis’ body is also a big help in this case with the mother, as well,” Gwyn Gabe, Alexis’ father, told ABC 7.
