An 80-year-old woman was mauled to death by two dogs in San Bernadino County last Friday morning, NBC News reports.
Soon Han was walking around the desert community of Baldy Mesa when she was attacked by two dogs. According to ABC 7, the attack was reported around 11 a.m. Deputies arrived and found an unresponsive Soon.
“Han suffered major injuries during the attack and was pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said in the statement, according to NBC News. “The dog owner was located and is cooperating with the investigation.”
The dogs will be held until a “vicious dog hearing” takes place.
