It’s unclear when Jeremy Lin will play his first game for Kaohsiung Steelers in Taiwan, but ticket sales are already surging, Taipei Times reports.
On January 25, Lin announced on social media that he would be joining the Steelers who play Taiwan’s professional P. LEAGUE+ (PLG). The team made their own announcement a day later.
The team will play three games at home in February. The first two will be against the Formosa Taishin Dreamers and the New Taipei Kings. Tickets went on sale on Monday and Taipei Times reports that as of Wednesday, courtside seats (priced at NT$3,500 each) and all lower-level seats are sold out.
It is unclear when Lin will play his first game for the Steelers but fans hope he can turn their luck around.
