Michelle Yeoh basked in the applause as she raised a finger heart on her forehead while accepting the Screen Actor Guilds Award for best actress.
A tearful Yeoh appeared almost speechless, pausing to reflect and perhaps compose herself before speaking.
“Everyone of you know the journey, the roller coaster ride, the ups and downs. But most important we never give up.”
She began chuckling, again pausing to compose herself and hold back tears. She then let it all hang out.

“F*ck,” she exclaimed to laughter from her fellow actors.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is not just for me. This is for every little girl that looks like me. We will never stop doing this because we really really love it. Thank you for giving me a seat at the table because so many of us need this. We want to be seen. We want to be heard. Tonight you have shown us it is possible. I am grateful and my mom will be eternally grateful to you”
