Jimmy O. Yang has teamed up with Amazon to create a second comedy special that will stream on Prime Video, Variety reports.
Yang’s first special with Amazon, “Good Deal,” debuted in August 2020. The second special is titled “Guess How Much” and will launch on May 2. Prime Video told Variety that the special will make fun of “love languages, loser friends, and negotiating with his Asian parents.”
Yang is also set to star in Taika Waititi’s 10-episode Hulu series Interior Chinatown. The series is an adaptation of a novel of the same name by Charles Yu. The series will follow Willis Wu (Yang), a background actor on a cop show who stumbles onto the scene of a crime.
According to Deadline, another one of Yang’s projects has also been picked up by a studio. Viva Kids has obtained the North American rights to an animated film called Rally Road Racers. The film features the voices of Yang, Chloe Bennet, J.K. Simmons and many more. It will be released nationwide in 1,500 or more theaters on May 12.
Yang’s second comedy special will be available to stream on Prime Video starting May 2.
