Simu Liu has released his debut single “Don’t.”
The 33-year-old actor recently revealed at the Juno Awards that he was working on some music with Los Angeles-based record label 88Rising, The Toronto Star reports. He performed an Avril Lavigne parody medley at the Juno Awards and has been posting clips of himself playing guitar on social media.
Liu’s debut single, according to Rolling Stone, is an anthem ballad that encourages listeners not to give up.
“It is for every single person who ever has felt alone, different, heartbroken or hopeless,” Liu told the magazine.
Buzzfeed reports that more music may follow, but it is unclear when it will be released.
