Netflix releases trailer for ‘To All the Boys’ spinoff ‘XO, Kitty’

Netflix has released the official trailer for the To All the Boys I Loved Before spinoff television series “XO, Kitty.”

To All The Boys I Loved Before was a trilogy of three films based on novels of the same name by Jenny Han. They followed the love story of Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky.

“XO, Kitty,” will center around Lara Jean’s younger sister Kitty (Anna Cathcart). In the third film, Kitty met a boy named Dae during the family’s trip to South Korea. The series will follow Kitty as she moves to South Korea after receiving a scholarship to the boarding school Dae attends. It is the same scholarship program her mother, who passed away, enrolled in.

Unfortunately, there will be several bumps in the road for Kitty. In the trailer, we see a shocked Kitty find out that Dae has a girlfriend in South Korea. Despite her initial heartbreak, Kitty decides to stay and have her own adventure.

The series will premiere on Netflix on May 18. You can watch the full trailer below.
