Several AAPI actors, producers and creators attended Netflix’s TUDUM event in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
TUDUM is a global fan event that gives people a chance to learn more about Netflix’s original films and television series. Several actors from fan-favorite shows and movies attended to provide never-before-seen content as well as tease upcoming content. The streaming service also previewed some of its new releases as the event.
“Never Have I Ever” released its fourth and final season last week. Maitreya Ramakrishnan who plays the show’s main character Devi attended TUDUM with her co-stars Darren Barnet and Jaren Lewinson.
The three castmates shared a video where they swapped roles for a scene from their show.
Netflix is currently producing a live-action adaptation of “One Piece” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” “One Piece” will premiere in August 2023 with “Avatar: The Last Airbender” coming sometime in 2024. Casts from both shows attended TUDUM.
