Olivia Rodrigo releases ‘bad idea right?’ with music video

Olivia Rodrigo has released the second single from her upcoming album GUTS. On Friday, Rodrigo dropped “bad idea right?” with an official music video to accompany it.

The song follows Rodrigo’s thought processes as she contemplates meeting up with an ex.

“Yes, I know that he’s my ex/ But can’t two people reconnect?/ I only see him as a friend/ The biggest lie I ever said,” the pop star sings in the chorus, according to Genius.

The music video, directed by Petra Collins, shows Rodrigo receiving a call from her ex while at a party with her friends.

“Bad idea right?” is one of 12 tracks on Rodrigo’s second album GUTS. The album is scheduled for release on September 8.
