‘One Piece’ live-action remake released on Netflix today

Netflix released its live-action adaptation of the popular manga series “One Piece” today. The eight-episode first season is now available for streaming.

The series follows a young adventure named Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), who leaves his small village to pursue a treasure called ONE PIECE. The person who finds the treasure becomes King of the Pirates.

Along the way, Luffy assembles a crew to help him find ONE PIECE. The group sails across the seas, encountering rival treasure hunters throughout their journey.

The cast also includes Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

The series has an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes as of today, August 31.
