Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins earned an important win over the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon.
The team held the Jets scoreless during the 30-0 victory. According to Al.com, Tagovailoa completed his thirteen passes, ending 21 for 24 on the night.
The 25-year-old quarterback threw one touchdown pass in the second quarter , a 60-yarder for Jaylen Waddle, ESPN reports.
“Just me throwing the ball to our playmaker,” Tagovailoa said, according to AL.com. “That’s all it was. Jaylen made a play on that, and the result was a touchdown.”
The Dolphins now have a 10-4 record, and every win counts. According to Pro Football Talk, the AFC East, the Dolphins’ division, could come down to the last day.
