The popular Filipino fast food chain Jollibee has long proven popular within the Filipino and larger Asian American community.
Now it’s getting national recognition. USA Today singled out Jollibee as having the best fried chicken out of all the fast food outlets in the United States.
Jollibee celebrates its recognition on Instagram stating “A huge thank you to all our fans! USA Today @10Best has named our Chickenjoy the best fast food fried chicken thanks to you!”
The editors at USA Today suggest dippiing Chickenjoy in its “silky gravy” and reminds customers to make sure they order the sides.
In June, Jollibee announced huge expansion plans for 14 new stores in North America this year. Just this past February, the restaurant ranked as the second fastest growing restaurant brand in the world by Brand Finance. Most of that growth has come in North America. It currently has more than 1600 locations throughout the world.
The Philippine-based chain practically has a cult following among Filipino Americans.
