October is Filipino American History Month

Filipino American History Month is officially underway.

Each year, the contributions of Filipino Americans are celebrated throughout the month of October.

Activists like Larry Itliong, a union organizer who was a key figure in the farm labor movement, are recognized.

Museums, cities and colleges throughout the United States have prepared events to celebrate.
