Rudy Giuliani caught on video mocking Asians

President Trump’s attorney and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani mocked Asians in a video his staff inadvertently posted on YouTube.

The Daily Beast reports the incident happened after he wrapped up an interview with former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. During small talk with assistant Jayne Zirkle, Giuliani spoke in a stereotypical accent while telling her she’s “going to be the most famous model in China.”

“Ah, get me Jayne Zirkle,” he said while using the accent.

The video has since been taken down, but the clip has resurfaced on social media.

Rep Ted Lieu (D-CA), a vocal critic of the Trump administration, went to Twitter to remind Giuliani of the power of the Asian American community.

  1. That doesn’t really seem racist. I’m asian and I didn’t really understand what he was referencing but I didn’t think it was that bad. People have such thin skin nowadays. You see black people on youtube calling each other and other people the n word and that is never pointed out as racist. Why is there a double standard.

    • Sort of agree with Mark. I’m Asian. It’s Very mild – if he had done it only once. The part that becomes annoying is repeating it over and over trying to get laughs delivered to him by his staff.m and then the final bow. He’s an ignorant fool.

  2. First off Giuliani is not Asian so therefore him mocking an asian person ( you can hear it in his dialect)is absolutely wrong.
