Police in Irvine made a plea for help this weekend in the search for a mother and her 13-year old daughter-both missing for more than a year, reports NBC LA.
The husband and dad last saw Amber Aiaz and teenager Melissa Fu at the family’s home in Irvine.
The father said he answered a knock on the door from a man and woman, but quickly became unconscious from an unknown substance.
The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward in the case, according to ABC7.
Melissa is described as having dark brown hair, 5’11” tall and weighing 200 pounds. Mom Amber, who also goes by the name of as Mei Yi Wu, is 35 years old, 5’9″ tall and 180 pounds with black hair.
Police hope to bring into for questioning two people witnesses saw in the area at the time. Authorities describe them as both Chinese. The women is in her 40’s, 5’8″ and average build and her black hair tied in a bun. The man is 5’10” with average build and weighing 190 pounds with short black hair.
Police fear the pair may have been kidnapped.
