Marvel Studios Sunday released the first trailer for Eternals, the first big studio release for Academy Award director and best picture winner Chloe Zhao of Nomadland.
Eternals stars Salma Hayak, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani and Angelina Joie, as well as Richard Madden and Kit Harington, both from Game of Thrones.
The cast is described as Marvel Studios most diverse ever.
The story begins when a large alien ship arrives at a small village and we learn that a race of superheroes has helped humankind for centuries.
