2nd violent robbery in Oakland Chinatown in 2 days

Police in Oakland, CA are investigating their second robbery in as many days outside the Chinese Independent Baptist Church.

Reporter Da Lin of CBS5 witnessed the suspects running off as he happened to be driving up.

The second incident shook up a middle age daughter and her mother who were left with a bloodied hand and injured knees as three thieves ran off with their handbags.

Surveillance video from the church shows a Lexus pulling up and three people running out toward the victims.

The 80-year old grandmother said the robbers struck her in the head and repeatedly hit her daughter. Police say the same three suspects along with the getaway driver were involved in at least two other robberies Friday.

KTVU reports a robbery happened at nearly the exact same spot on Thursday.

A male victim is seen on the ground as two people pistol whipped him and ran off with his belongings.

“I heard screaming so I ran down out of my office and I looked out the window and saw a gentleman getting mugged, getting beaten pretty badly, we immediately called 9-1-1,” a witness who saw the attack happen outside his office window said.

Police do not know if the two incidents are connected.

  1. What everyone is witnessing is the slaughter of innocent lambs by vicious hyenas. If you think Defunding the Police is the key to law and order, think again.
