A video posted by Jackfroot shows a man following a gay couple down Market Street in Downtown San Francisco screaming anti-Asian slurs.
Hopclear reports the man screamed such epithets as “Asian piece of sh*t,” “I don’t like you fking Asian mother fkers in my country,” and “They attacked pearl harbor on Sunday morning.”
The Asian American man and his boyfriend appear to be trying to ignore the man as they continued walking.
“His comments were pretty low. He was very racially motivated so he said that Asians don’t belong in this country. He served in the Navy and events like Pearl Harbor are reasons why Asians are not welcome,” one said to KRON4.
Both said they are concerned about the bigotry and hatred and want to raise awareness of the issue.
“The city needs to be doing more to address the systemic problem that is the root cause of all of this and I’m not seeing that,” the other said.
What’s alarming to them is that this could happen in a city such as San Francisco which is known for its diversity and welcoming culture.
“The city needs to be doing more to address the systemic problem that is the root cause of all of this and I’m not seeing that.”
Both escaped physical injury.

The federal government has given several organizations a lot of money to address this problem. What they are doing with that money is to help Asians deal with the hate. Erfort is right. What are they or the governments doing to deal with those who hate?
Shameful. Those two young guys should have knocked the dentures out of hateful grandpa
What’s the predator’s name in the MAGA like hat? Five dollar says he isn’t Navy and from Oakland, Fremont, or the East Bay.
