The BTS Army is in full commando mode after an Australian talk show sent out a now deleted tweet inferring that the KPop stars spread COVID at the Grammys.
The Daily Beast reports that the program called The Project showed band member V who was actually dancing, but made it look like he was coughing.
The narration only reinforced the misleading video.
“K-Pop sensation BTS dropped in, dismissing their very recent battles with COVID-19,” a woman narrates after mentioning that band member Jungkook tested positive for the virus on March 27.
Jungkook had actually quarantined after his mild case and had been cleared to attend the award show.
The Project chose to go with the misleading video despite another big talker involving the band.
All the other news shows talked about how band member V sat next to Olivia Rodrigo and appeared to flirt with her.
People are wondering what he whispered in her ear that got her to blush.
