HBO Max has renewed Mindy Kaling’s “Sex Lives of College Girls” for a third season.
The show follows Kimberly, Leighton, Bela and Whitney as they navigate their first year of college. The second season debuted on November 17 and the final two episodes of the season will air on Thursday.
Kaling’s comedy hit has been the top HBO Max Original since the second season premiered. According to HBO, last week the show set a record with its viewership being nearly double that of the first episode in 2021.
“Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble continue to brilliantly capture the college experience in the most entertaining and relatable way,” Suzanna Makkos, executive vice president of original comedy and adult animation at HBO Max said in a press release. “This series is the perfect balance of comedy, sex, curiosity, and chaos, and we can’t wait to see what the next season brings.”
Further details about the third season have not been released.
