More accusations against teen accused of paralyzing woman

A teenager in Houston who has already confessed to injuring a woman and causing her to be paralyzed is now accused of another incident.

ABC13 reports that weeks before, authorities say 17-year-old Joseph Harrell held up employees and customers at a T-Mobile store in January.

A month later, Harrell was caught on surveillance video body-slamming Nhung Truong to the ground after she withdrew large amounts of money from a bank in Houston Chinatown.

Truong suffered severe injuries to her spine and ribs and is unable to walk.

A Go Fund Me for Truong raised $339,000 and has since been closed.

“I have to do exercises until I can walk again,” Truong said determined to rehabilitate herself.

A court date for the latest charge is set for today.
