Authorities have identified the two teenagers killed in a car accident in Douglas County, Nebraska, last week.
According to WOWT 6, the two 16-year-old victims are Ray L. Htoo and Eh Ywa Htoo. Authorities also identified the three injured passengers as s 17-year-old Tah Moo, 13-year-old Joreh Htoo, and 13-year-old Eh Moo, KETV 7 reports.
Investigators say Ray L. Htoo was driving the vehicle, which crashed into a tree head-on and caught fire in the early morning of October 8 near North River Drive. Deputies told KETV 7 they believe a second vehicle was involved.
WOWT 6 says investigators searched the car and confirmed it had been stolen from Omaha the morning of the crash. They think reckless driving, speed, alcohol and drugs likely caused the crash.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office told KETV 7 that Ray L. Htoo was under juvenile court supervision at the time of the crash.
