A mother dying of cancer issued an urgent video plea Wednesday for the release her daughter who has been held captive since the October 7th Hamas attack at a music festival in Israel.
Liora Argamani is living with terminal brain cancer and hopes to see her daughter Noa Argamani at least one last time, reports the Jerusalem Post.
“I wish for the chance to see my Noa, at home. I call upon President Biden and the Red Cross to bring back my Noa as soon as possible so that I get the chance to see her,” Liora said in a moving video.
The mother is a native of Wuhan, China. Her daughter gained international attention when a video circulated of her being taken hostage pleading for her life while on a motorcycle. Liora says Noa is Israeli.
According to the Times of Israel, Liora is currently living in a temporary apartment in Tel Aviv where she recorded the video.
I don’t know how much time I have left. I wish for the chance to see my Noa at home.”
At least 81 hostages have been released during a four day cease fire that has been extended several times.
‘Noa, if I don’t get to see you… please know that I love you very much. Please know that we did everything we could to get you released. The whole world loves you,’ the Daily Mail reported her as saying.
