A group known for its racists and anti-Muslim views is suing King County for its refusal to allow the group to run anti-Islamic ads on buses, reports the Seattle Times.
The American Freedom Defense Initiative which is headed by Pamela Geller (pictured here) accuses the county of violating its first amendment rights.
The ads are similar to ones put up by the FBI offering a $25 million reward for the arrests of 16 internationally known terrorists. The ads were voluntarily removed after criticism the billboards stereotyped Muslims.
The AFDI submitted its billboard almost immediately after the FBI took its down.
