Filipino American contestant Malaya Watson belted a soulful tune last night on American Idol that brought judge Jennifer Lopez to tears, reports the Inquirer.
The top 12 contestant who survived the bottom three last week sang the gospel tune Take Me to the King.
Lopez said the performance brought tears to her eyes and gave her the “goosies” because “I was so proud of you.”
