Deadline: M Night Shyamalan to Produce Television Mini-Series

Fox has green lighted two miniseries for development, including one to be executive produced by M Night Shyamalan of Sixth Sense fame. Wayward Pines will be a 10-12 part event series to air sometime next year, reported Deadline. It is based on the best selling novel Pines by Blake Crouch. Secret Service agent Ethan Burkes comes to Ethan Pines to find two missing secret service agents. The more he learns, the deeper he gets until it becomes apparent he may never get out of the town alive. Comparisons are already being made to the classic cult hit, Twin Peaks. A second mini series announced by Fox is Blood Brothers which is based on a true story from West Point.
