Accused conspirator and Chinatown gang leader Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow is accusing San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee of hiding records that will show he took a $20,000 bribe from federal agents (Photo by Jen Siska from Mary Spicuzza).
The Courthouse News reports Chow claims Lee is entangled in the same bribery sting that got suspended California State Senator Leland Yee and himself arrested.
He filed a public records act request for records that will prove his point, but he says the mayor’s office has not responded.
On Thursday, Chow sued the Mayor and the city.
“Lee did something illegal and wants to hide it, for when faced with the request for public records that is the subject of this lawsuit he knowingly and falsely denied the existence of responsive records,” Chow says in the complaint.
