A grandmother who was shopping for groceries in San Francisco’s Chinatown on Mother’s Day and struck in the head has died, reports ABC7
77-year old Lin Leong collapsed several days after the attack and fell into a coma. Her family took her off life support on Friday.
“I hope everyone’s able to collectively gather as a community as one, to help my grandma, find the person that attacked her and the person that helped her so that we can find this person as soon as possible so my grandma can rest in peace,” granddaughter Connie Ho said. Connie is seen in the picture with her grandmother.
Police say a good samaritan helped Leong shortly after she was hit and are asking the samaritan to come forward to provide any information.
