A middle school teacher in the Citrus County School District in Florida has been accused of producing a White nationalist podcast.
The Huff Post reports that Dayanna Volitich, who teaches social studies at Crystal River Middle School, is hosting the Unapologetic podcast under the name Tiana Dalichov.
In the podcast, she talks about how science has proven that certain races are smarter than other. Huff Post also reports that she bragged about how she brings her White nationalists politics into the classroom and how she has kept her political views from school administrators.
Following inquiries by the Huff Post, a Twitter account belonging to the podcast as well as other social media accounts have been deleted.
Several screen grabs from past posts, however, were included in the article including one that read “it is isn’t supremacist or hateful to prefer your own people over others.”
The district is distancing itself from Volitich.
“She does not speak on behalf of the Citrus County School District,” said Scott Hebert of the school district. “The views she’s listed [online] are really not in line with how our district operates.”
