Two Asians have been cast as superheroes in Deadpool 2, reports 48 Min
What makes this even more special is a blond hair mutant has been re-imagined as an Asian character.
Lewis Tan will play Shatterstar. He’ll have superhuman capabilities, swing a mighty sword and possess healing powers.
Tan couldn’t contain his excitement.

Movie Web reports Shatterstar comes from another dimension, trained in the martial arts and also has super human capabilities. He is also known for his distinctive costumes.
The other Asian character is Japanese mutant superhero Surge as played by Japanese actress Shioli Kutsuna. She is indeed electric as she possesses the power of being able to control electricity. She also happens to have purple hair. According to 48 Min, in the comics Surge ran away to America to escape an abusive, mutant-hating father.
