Bus tickets are still being sold out of the curbside headquarters of the Ming An bus company in New York City, despite a federal crackdown two weeks ago. reports Bowery Boogie.
The feds shut the operation down because of what they said were numerous safety violations. The Transportation Department’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration cited Ming An for lack of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as an excessive amounts of speeding tickets.
While tickets are still being sold and crowds are gathering there to catch buses, Bowery Boogie reports the tickets are being sold for other bus lines, not Ming An.
