Rafu Shimpo: Asian Americans With Disabilities Face More Barriers Than Others With Disabilities

The report found that many disabled Asian Americans want to find jobs and gain economic independence, but must overcome major obstacles to do so.

Only 9.2 percent of Asian Americans with disabilities are employed, lower than any other ethnic group.

The report was conducted by Asians and Pacific Islanders with Disabilities of California (APIDC).
