Radar is reporting that former Today host Ann Curry is asking NBC to let her out of her contract so she can accept a position with CNN.
Curry would rejoin former Today Executive Producer Jeff Zucker who is scheduled to take over CNN in February.
NBC has appeared reluctant to let Curry walk, but she is working with her attorney to find a way out.
Her lawyers are making a case that NBC violated the terms of the contract when it demoted her.
