Manny Pacquiao has never loss three fights in a row his entire career. The unthinkable could happen if Manny loses November 24 to Brandon Rios in Macao, according to the International Business Times
That would mean Pacquiao would likely hang up his gloves, according to his trainer Freddie Roach.
“If you lose three in a row it’s your time,” Roach told ESPN.com. “He’s up there in age (34). I’ve got to keep a close eye on him. It’s part of my job to protect him. I will do the right thing. I don’t want him to be a stepping stone (for other fighters).”
Of course, Roach wouldn’t have the final say on any decision to retire. But Manny’s family has already suggested the same thing. Add somebody from Manny’s inner boxing circle calling for his retirement would be significant.
