18-year old Eesha Khare says she’s still in a daze after being recognized by Intel for inventing a cell phone battery charger that works in 20 to 30 seconds.
The Indian American teenager received a check for $50,000 as one of just two runner ups at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
She beat out 16-hundred finalists from 70 countries, according to CBS SF.
“My project, I developed a new super capacitor, which is basically an energy storage device which can hold a lot of energy in a small amount of volume,” Eesha described.
